Project #14 - Spring prep...
Guess we'll have to wait 'til next spring to see if the 135 bulbs (!!) planted yesterday grow... update in spring i suppose!!

A rare escape....
... from the DIY to enjoy the english sunshine. It actually rained most of the day up until about 20 minutes before the ride... PERFECT.
Ahhh, return of the wasps....
Having removed them from the compost (and subsequently the compost itself) we spotted more at the front of the house... Now one of us has to either go up there and remove the nest, or find someone to do that for us....

In the garden....
.... we've watched the wasps coming and going in the entrance to the compost for about a week now - i've managed to prize of the front of the compost with a stick and now we have to treat the nest with some foam apparently. I'm not holding out much hope of that working!!

Project #7 - Front garden tidy...
We are actually doing about 20 different things but i'm avoiding putting half finished stuff up to confuse the issue. This weekend we wanted to tidy the front garden so we aren't stepping over things trying to get in the house. And even we are struggling to convince ourselves that it's "ornate" grass, rather than just grass that needs pulling out. Anyways - before's and afters below....
