So - the tiles are done! Looks so much better! Onwards to the flooring...

Another long evening of prep but total progress as tiles are ON THE WALL...

 Floor redone...

 Several hours later... shower tray down and crap plastic legs that came with shower tray in the bin and last minute dash to B&Q for wood to make a new frame for the shower tray purchased and assembled.

 TILES!

Project #37 - catching back up...

So - despite the usual set-backs that although always seem to happen always seem to surprise me (plaster gone off sooner than it should, none spare, trip to B&Q at top speed before closing, standing on something sharp & a pizza on the floor are just some of this evening's choice happenings) - we aer making progress, despite that being at the expense of our sanity.

Wall come down and new baton's up (check out the size of the baton nearest the wall, this frame is seriously wonky)...

Then some serious plastering of walls where the tiles won't be. Think we need another coat in some places but to be honest, it's looking better than expected.  Let's just hope it looks the same in the daylight. :-)

 And here's some progress on the floor too - it's not fixed yet - that's tomorrow's job... along with replastering the wall, finishing the wall, putting up the rest of the plasterboard, fitting the floor, cutting the rest of the floor, fitting the shower tray - well, i guess you get the idea. Tiler still due on Sat.

Project #37 - big set-back :-(

So - despite what these photos below show... we have to now take the walls back down, straighten the frame (or plaster out the walls to make them straight, neither option seems attractive!) and also replace the floor. A nice 6am start on Saturday was completely fruit-less as the tiler had to leave as the wall is *that* uneven. Booo. Rob did think about replacing the floor (as we had to in the other bathroom) - so it's not a total surprise.... but still. Urg. Anyway - here's the update...

 Walls up and tanked and sealed. PROGRESS!!

Shower base in - this is one of the reasons that we need to change the floor. It moves when you stand on it - not ideal. Worst than that... it squeaks! :-)
